President and Publicity Officer

Danielle Mackay – member for 6 years

Danielle comes from a six generational farming property in the Snowy Mountains region of NSW. She is a Registered Nurse/Midwife and is a passionate 
advocate for rural Australia.
Danielle enjoys cooking new recipes and perfecting old ones.  She is often at meetings with bad bed hair and it’s best not to ask her about her knitting.
Danielle organises our Virtual Street Stall each month.
 

Secretary and Cookery Officer

Mel Wozniak – member for 6 years

Mel is an amazing cook.  Her enthusiasm and dedication to perfecting a recipe is second to none.  As a mother of 6, we don’t know how she does it.

Mel lives in Kogarah,  enjoys cross-stitch, makes amazing jams and helps to organise our Virtual Cuppas when required.

Treasurer (and Mid North Coast Group Treasurer)

Janella Leotta – member for 6 years

Lives in the Manning Valley, Mid North Coast and works full-time for TAFE NSW.  Janella enjoys meeting others with similar interests through the Virtual Branch.

Assistant Secretary, Vice President and Handicraft Officer

Rosemary Small – member for 6 years

Rosemary lives on a property outside Marrar NSW, near Wagga Wagga.  They grow wheat, lupins and canola.  Rosemary is a retired infant’s school Assistant Principal. She enjoys craft and has tried most forms of craft including pottery, tapestry, macrame, embroidery, cross stitch, woodwork, knitting, spinning and weaving and quiltmaking (mostly hand applique work), hand and machine quilting.  Go Girl!

Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Cookery Officer

Rhonda Purcell – member for 6 years

Rhonda lives near Wyong on the Central Coast.  She loves baking, reading, patchwork, bush walks and volunteering whenever possible in the local community.

Rhonda enjoys parkrun  (a free, timed, community run/walk) each Saturday morning too.

Penny Williams – member for 5 year

Penny was born and raised in South Australia.  She moved to NSW to study Rural Science at the University of New England where she met her husband.  Penny has lived in Leeton for many years.  They spend extended periods of time travelling in their caravan.  Her interests are the environment, photography, playing bridge and doing some casual teaching.

Jan Peasnell – Member for 4 years

Jan is retired and lives in Forster on the Barrington Coast. She enjoys history, sings in a local choir and works for Palliative Care Support and the local RSL. 

Jan has been involved in CWA for many years in both NSW and Victoria and enjoys her involvement with the Virtual Branch.
